Notability
[edit]I hesitated to create this article until I encountered Anxious Angel, the final track of the Netflix series Love & Anarchy (TV series) (WP:BAND point 10 "Has performed music for a work of media that is notable".) We already had two redlinks:
- Petter (rapper)
- Petter Winnberg
- Famous Blue Raincoat (added by me)
- First Aid Kit (band) (added by me)
- Kids in Love (song) (added by me)
and the existing article on Swedish Wikipedia sv:Maja Francis. The online magazine articles in the reference list are nontrivial - Popmuzic (2015), Gaffa (magazine) (2016), JaJaJa (2020). I've quoted her reviews in the reference list. Anna-Sopfia Pehrson (14 August 2015) uses Francis's name in the headline without needing to explain who she is. (WP:BAND point 1 "Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works).
On the other hand, she is not nearly as notable as the main musicians she often collaborates with (First Aid Kit, Veronica Maggio) and she does not appear to have released any full albums (WP:BAND point 5), and for point 2 ("Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart") her only entries in the Swedish chart are for collaborations with Kygo and Petter (rapper) (Swedish charts)
I suggest seeing if this article attracts any contributions and see how it develops over time. --Northernhenge (talk) 00:14, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
- I've removed the tag now that the article cites further reviews and interviews in independent sources. I tried to contact the editor who tagged it but s/he has retired. --Northernhenge (talk) 23:01, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
