Proposed merger[edit]

I propose that the articles Makrygialos and Makrys Gialos should be merged. The articles clearly cover the same general locality, although Makrys Gialos focuses on the area (municipality) and Makrygialos on the modern resort and, particularly, the archaeological site. There is also a clear need to make the two texts compatible - for example, Makrys Gialos states that the archeological sites "are not of great importance", while Makrygialos sets out substantial information on the Minoan site.
