No consensus. Seems like this is going to be resolved on the talk pages and with edits to articles. Vegaswikian (talk) 19:17, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Maoist Communist Centre of IndiaMaoist Communist Centre — --Soman (talk) 19:39, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is pointless, there are just the two of us and we both agreed to the move already. Tentontunic (talk) 19:55, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like there is a history to Maoist Communist Centre that will need to be merged. You're going to have to get someone to do it for you.--rgpk (comment) 20:08, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I was going to just redirect this and copy and paste the content from Maoist Communist Center article I had created. Tentontunic (talk) 23:02, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Don't do that. You need to merge/keep the histories for copyright reasons. I didn't realize that there were three articles. Let me take a look and see what we can do. --rgpk (comment) 23:09, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Am I right in assuming that you want the following outcome: Maoist Communist Centre contains the text currently in Maoist Communist Centre of India. Maoist Communist Centre of India and Maoist Communist Center both redirect to Maoist Communist Centre. --rgpk (comment) 23:15, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That is what I assumed was being done as the Maoist Communist Center article is better sourced than this one. I created the Maoist Communist Center article based on the spelling in the sources, not realizing the english spelling article already existed. My view is that this article MCC-I and Maoist Communist Center both redirect to Maoist Communist Centre but using the content from Maoist Communist Center for the new article. That all looks very confusing. Tentontunic (talk) 23:27, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think I get it. You want this to be the content and you want the article at Maoist Communist Centre. If soman is ok with this, I can do this as an uncontroversial move. --rgpk (comment) 23:40, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I'm not 100% ok with that. I want this article Maoist Communist Centre of India moved to Maoist Communist Centre. The current Maoist Communist Center article is much shorter, and is not better sourced that the Maoist Communist Centre of India one. --Soman (talk) 01:14, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

(od) You guys figure out what you want and let me know. Clearly, per WP:AT the article should be at Maoist Communist Centre. --rgpk (comment) 17:04, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I figured this would happen due to Soman`s ownership issues. Do as you will, I shall rewrite the article and then copy it in. Tentontunic (talk) 23:20, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That'll make a mess when these are finally merged. It would be better if you two could sort things out on the talk pages and then make the mess only if you can't resolve things. --rgpk (comment) 13:34, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You misunderstand, I shall rewrite the article off line, then copy and paste in in as a new edit. That ought not cause any issue with a merger no? Tentontunic (talk) 13:44, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That should be fine. Still, it's better to get soman on board. You'll have to deal with the fallout once you've pasted it in. Just a thought but, procedurally, you're fine. --rgpk (comment) 20:41, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
