Liszt's Variations

"Liszt premiered her waltz for piano for four hands, "Valses pour piano á quatre mains" Op. 8; in fact, Liszt liked the waltz so well that he wrote some variations that were, unfortunately, never published." There is no evidence of such a piece of Liszt. Which one is it? Title? Date of composition?
