[edit]In addition to fixing the article's grammar, I changed 'rabid nationalist' to 'fervent nationalist' for the sake of encyclopaedic-ness. --Last Malthusian 14:09, 2 September 2005 (UTC)

Book by John Koster: "Hermann Ehrhardt - the man Hitler wasn't"

Revert of 3 July 2023 edit by Johanss Visser
[edit]It seems that there was a connection between the swastika and antisemitism in 1919. The Krüger book, p. 34 (cited in note 14) says the swastikas "more probably" came via the Marinebrigade's contact with the Deutschvölkischer Schutz- und Trutzbund, which had distributed material from the Hammer Verlag (publisher) among the men coming back from Silesia. The Hammer Verlag was founded by the antisemite Theodor Fritsch, who in turn founded the antisemitic Reichshammerbund in 1912, which was using the swastika before 1919. See the linked articles. Given that connection, I reverted the edit. GHStPaulMN (talk) 22:12, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
