Mavis Doriel Hay attended St Hilda's College, Oxford from 1913 to 1916 (Stephen Booth, Introduction, Death on the Cherwell, British Library page 7).
The Oxford University Gazette confirms that she took third class honours in English at St Hilda's in 1916 (page 585).
