Fair use rationale for Image:Enyamayitbe.jpg

[edit]

Image:Enyamayitbe.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:25, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating

[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as stub, and the rating on other projects was brought up to Stub class. BetacommandBot 19:31, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's always great to have a well-documented article, but can someone explain why the citations (all of which are "Web." ones) are not linked to their sources? I don't mind tracking them down, but I just don't understand the lack of hyperlinks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ferrariguy90 (talkcontribs) 03:21, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

need for "Though most of Enya’s music is classified as New Age, May It Be is considered soundtrack"

[edit]

Hey does "Though most of Enya’s music is classified as New Age, May It Be is considered soundtrack" sound possibly... I can't think of the right word for it... lame/obvious ... to anyone? It may just be me, but I want to remove that whole sentence. It doesn't add anything, even if it is cited (improperly by the way, as Ferrariguy90 noted earlier). I may be wrong though? notkeel (talk) 10:49, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good find. I have rewritten that sentence, stating that Enya's music is generally classified as New Age. Furthermore I've removed unreliable and unclear references and have introduced weblinks to reliable sources per the above post. De728631 (talk) 16:39, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Elfish lyrics

[edit]

The section about the elfish lyrics currently has two completely different translations / explanations. If anyone disagrees, please reply. Otherwise we can trim away the incorrect one. PizzaMan ♨♨♨ 16:53, 5 September 2024 (UTC) I misread the last sentence of the lyrics part as being a different tranlsation, when it's actually lines from the lyrics where English and elfish are alternated. To clarify this, i removed the italics from the elfish there. PizzaMan ♨♨♨ 08:37, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
