This article had been published before but was moved to the draft section because of "multiple issues". As the main contributor, Id like to comment, the article is about the author of a book, that was reviewed by several national German newspapers and national broadcast services (see sources), thus meeting the notability guidelines. Additionally the article mentions her onstage appearance in (goverment funded) Jewish history and Holocaust museums citing the event section of these institutions as a reliable source. The author did not use routine coverage, sensationalism or non-reliable source as basis of this article. Please review this article accordingly Fu-Lank (talk) 11:16, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Fu-Lank, you've done a good job at improving this article! I should ask, did you translate some of this from the German Wikipedia article? It's very much fine (even encouraged), but there needs to be a copyright attribution for legal reasons. If you did translate from that article, please put {{Translated page|de|Maya Lasker-Wallfisch}} right after the WikiProjects on this talk page. Given that the article draft was accepted, I'm surprised the reviewer didn't remove the tags. @Vexations: did you have any ongoing concerns with this article? My only concern is whether any negative reviews have been omitted, very few things are ever unanimously well-received. However, my German is not good enough to search for reviews so I have no chance of confirming one way or the other. As long as Vexations agrees, I am happy for the tags to be removed. --Xurizuri (talk) 01:51, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Xurizuri for the encouragement, I have started the article by translating what was already there, but as I found more and more sources, added more sentences that were not in the original German version... I have added the tlp-tag just to be on the safe side... I've linked all the sources and reviews, and only one reviewer had slight stylistic remarks, but makes a point of recommending the book anyway as it deals with a rarely addressed topic... after all in this case with a debut author it is not necessayrily literary reviews but recommendations about a specific biography... Sounds good! The translated page tag needs to be here even if changes have been made since then, so thank you for still adding it. If you could wait another week or two, if Vexations hasn't commented yet, feel free to remove the tags. If someone adds them back or adds new tags though, it will indicate that there is another issue that we didn't spot - in that case, leave those tags up and ask the person to explain what the issue is if it's not clear. --Xurizuri (talk) 23:11, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
