Address

[edit]

"Ben Mondor" is the mailing address which many sources use. However, MapQuest and other mapping systems do not recognize that address and thus won't provide driving directions. I've used the old street address, on the theory that a person consulting Wikipedia for the stadium address is more likely to want to drive there than mail something there. Perhaps some day when the mapping systems catch up, this can be revisited. Iglew (talk) 11:01, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've had this problem myself while trying to get to minor league stadiums. Thanks for addressing it (no pun intended). Kithira (talk) 15:31, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fishing

[edit]

I hate to throw cold water on the "fishing" story, but it is hardly unique to McCoy Stadium. Fans have been doing this kind of thing since at least the 1960s, at Wrigley Field for example. It's quaint, but not all that special. What's possibly unique is having to do it in the box seat area, as opposed to the bleachers. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots05:58, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
