This article confuses two different people

[edit]

This page confuses two different people, both of whom use the name Mel-Man. Melvin Breeden of Big Cat records did not do production work for Dr. Dre or Eminem. That is Melvin Bradford. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.31.110.112 (talk) 23:47, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Article Revision

[edit]

It sure would have been nice for the above contributor to have fixed what he saw was incorrect, but I suppose that beggars can't be choosers.

Anyways, I gone over the article and brought it, at least what was already there, up to what I feel is an encyclopedic standard. Many song and album titles were misspelled or formatted incorrectly, and many were not linked to their respective Wikipedia articles, but I have fixed those issues. I have added inline citations and inline links to other relevant articles, and I have also removed the credits that were incorrectly attributed to Breeden.

I left the "sources/verification" heading, as I was unable to find reliable sources to some of the article's contents. I also corrected the reference to Billboard naming Mr. Breeden's label a "Top Rap Label"...previously it said Top 10, when in reality, it was named #13 - I have cited a source for this as well. Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --12.168.100.12 (talk) 20:47, 5 September 2014 (UTC)Melvin Breeden is a well known Music Business executive. He has a impressive career & continues to make a difference nationally in the music business.[reply]
