Re: The name “Life Flight” was created when the service began, and all rights are owned by Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. No one may legally use the name without a license to do so from Memorial Hermann.

Is this right? There is a very big life flight in NZ that I know of. Does it mean all rights within the USA?

There's also a large one here In Portland, OR with multiple aircraft manned 24/7: http://www.lifeflight.org/ -Viper007Bond 03:09, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And one in Nashville - http://www.mc.vanderbilt.edu/lifeflight/web/ --Allie 06:53, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I suspect the two mentioned in the US (Memorial Hermann's trademark almost certainly doesn't include NZ) got permission, and rather easily: I'd be surprised if Memorial Hermann didn't automatically grant permission to any operator of a public air ambulance service that doesn't operate within its service area, more or less southeast Texas. There is also one in South Western Pennsylvania - http://www.wpahs.org/lifeflight/index.shtml Stp147 (talk) 23:39, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps a section can be added that mentions "Life Flight" is a common/generic name for regions to name their emergency helicopter service. It's the same in my non-Houston area. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.3.190.106 (talk) 06:17, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Add Advertisement Template?[edit]

Sounds a lot like the text is either written by someone from them, or taken from some sort of advertisement text...Therefore I recommend adding
