Incorrect information on color categories

[edit]

I removed the following text:

"M. splendidus can be classified by their three different colors; "testaceous", "yellowish", and "brownish" that different authors and scientists have deemed fit."

because it did not match what was written in the source text:

"The terms "testaceous", "yellowish", and "brownish" by different authors refer to the same type of coloration: the yellowish-brown areas of Metallyticus’ body that do not show an iridescent coloration."

I understand this section to mean that these terms have been variably and interchangeably used by authors to describe non-metallic sections of Metallyticus species, not that there are different color classifications. Please let me know if you disagree. Shchurch (talk) 02:15, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Exotic Pet Trade

[edit]

Some information already included in this article was cited from a webpage for a vendor. I am relatively new to editing wikipedia, but I believe this is usually discouraged WP:AFFILIATE. I have left the information for now in its own section about the exotic pet trade, but appreciate any help on how to proceed / improve the sources. Shchurch (talk) 20:11, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
