Location of valley

[edit]

An editor said the vally was lcated "between the mountain chains of Alborz and Qaflan Kooh", however the Alborz range (Elburz range) is far to the east of Mianeh. Directly north of Mianeh is the extinct volcano Mount Bozgush, and to the southsoutheast is the mountain next to Phraaspa. --Bejnar 17:00, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notable people

[edit]

Please only list people who qualify as notable under Wikipedia criteria. In general, either the person is already the subject of an article, or they are prominently named in an article (for example, as a member of a band), or you are getting started on writing that article. If the person's connection to Meyaneh is not mentioned in their Wikipedia article please include a source citation. If they are notable, have no article, but are prominently named in a Wikipedia article, please use a piped link to that article (and section) from their name. If you are inserting a name prefatory to writing the article about a notable person, please cite a source in this article for their notability and for their Meyaneh connection. Thanks. See in particular Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Lists of people. --Bejnar (talk) 21:50, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed:
  • Dariush Eghbali, born in Tehran, grew up in Karaj. His only connection to Meyaneh is that his parents may have come from there. Absent some other connection he is not a "notable person" of Meyaneh.
  • Davood Behboodi, no article, no citation showing notability, no citation showing Meyaneh connection.
  • Bahram Saranag, no article, no citation showing notability, no citation showing Meyaneh connection.
