Monoclinous (bisexual) and monoecious

[edit]

A source cited on this page is either wrong, or translation from Portuguese to English doesn't work in the way it was done here. The source is Acta Botanica Brasilica vol.19 no.32005 Sinopse taxonômica da família Lauraceae no Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil; Taxonomic synopsis of the family Lauraceae in the Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil, by Alexandre Quinet. If the trees are monoecious, then they have some male flowers and some female flowers; if the flowers are monoclinous, then each flower is bisexual. I think that this reference and the material based on it may need to be removed in its entirety because mistranslation (or errors in the original) does not make a good foundation for wikipedia.
