State bar records

[edit]

TX's state bar has a database that includes disbarred attorneys; I've linked to Murphy's entry since it's the most authoritative source of data on TX disbarments. LA's state bar online appears to list only "active" lawyers, so no link. rewinn 20:28, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

About other scandals

[edit]

This article is not about other officers. There may be some relevance to the fact that the Murphy scandal comes at around the time of other scandals involving other Air Force officers, but details about those other scandals should go on those other officers' pages. rewinn 17:06, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That being said: a reference to another scandal was deleted with the reason given being that the other officer was not a JAG; however, the article did not assert that the other officer's a JAG, only that the other officer was a high Air Force officer, like the subject of the article. This may or may not be noteworthy; I've restored the content (accurately, and in its own section) and leave it for others to discuss its noteworthiness. rewinn 16:23, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sources required

[edit]

An anonymous editor is trying to add information without providing sources, and in addition it consists largely of commentary. You can't do that, because wikipedia is not a blog. Why not simply PROVIDE a source for the additions, and refrain from the commentary. rewinn (talk) 16:21, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WHMO

[edit]

I'm curious why the White House Military Office refused to release him from his NDA. Is there by any chance any information about that? Little of what the WHMO does would seem to require secrecy, especially after the fact, and as legal counsel he presumably did not know the kinds of operational details that they might want to keep secret. Why they would not want him to be able to talk about his duties and disclose his evaluations is unclear to me.Bill (talk) 06:14, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
