Speedy deletion
[edit]This article meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion because reason: I RECEIVED THIS LETTER from MR MICHAEL GONGORA
Good Morning Wikipedia Administration: My name is Michael Góngora, and I currently work as a Miami Beach Commissioner. I’m sending this letter as an attempt to solve a current issue regarding my Wikipedia biography. As a mean to promote my background and career achievements as a politician in Miami Beach, an article about me was created in Wikipedia in September, 2011. The article has recently been a subject of controversy experiencing a lot of activity from a large number of Wikipedia users and editors. On some occasions, editors/users have added revisions and new content; others have added/fixed references. In other cases, some of this previous actions/added content have been removed from the article; being later reverted and restored. All of these actions being taken by a vast array of different editors/users. To continue the disparity, the article has been finally requested protected statue at least in two occasions by two different editors. One of them was on September 11, 2013, on which a request to block all non-admin users was made by an user stating a violations of the biographies of living persons policy; and recently another one on October 15, 2013 claiming disruptive editing actions and requesting to allow only auto confirmed users activity. The last two months have been some of the most active in the article’s history activity, suffering all kind of changes. Due to so much controversy and uncontrollable alterations, I have decided that I no longer wish to have a Wikipedia article related to my personal or professional life at this time. I am currently running for Mayor and people are using the Wikipedia profile as a game to unfairly attach and discredit me and put up negative stories about "scandals" that are untrue and have no managed to lock me out of my own profile. As such, until this can be corrected I am requesting the profile be taken down. Thank you. Michael Gongora.

This article -- according to the purported self admission of its subject -- was created (and I quote the subject)...
"As a mean [sic] to promote my background and career achievements as a politician in Miami Beach, an article about me was created in Wikipedia in September, 2011."
If that doesn't qualify as a good enough reason to delete the article in its entirety -- on the basis of a violation of Wiki policies by creating and using a biography of a living person as a promotional tool -- then I don't know a more obvious one. I recommend deletion based on a major violation of policies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EagleEyedExpert (talk • contribs) 10:36, 2 November 2013 (UTC)
