Michel / Michael[edit]

As far as I know, there is no actual proof of how this guy's name was spelt. Forix has "Michael" whereas GP.com has "Michel". This 8W article has both [1]. My usual method of checking spelling is decals on the car or helmet, or a signature. He always seemed to sign "M.May" and I've never seen any car/helmet decals. This article has just been moved from "Michael" to "Michel" with no cite - shouldn't the article reflect this lack of confirmation of the spelling? Bretonbanquet 22:00, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed; I've added a note to that effect. In my own defence, I changed the name within the article to Michel primarily so that there was consistency between the name of the article and its contents. - DH85868993 13:09, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
