Needs cleanup
[edit]Sounds overly promotional; reads too much like a how-to; apparently mostly written by Microsoft as indicated by the reference to "our editors". Nurg (talk) 05:26, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Logo
[edit]There was a logo for the (now defunct) Microsoft Academic Search that I uploaded per the guideline on logos, which allows low-quality images of logos for identification. It has been replaced by an image that is described as "own work", and as far as I can tell, is not anyone's logo. To me, that seems pointless, so I am reverting the changes. @Alexdwade: if you have a good reason for making this change, can you please explain it below? Multiple Pages for essentially the same tool
[edit]Do we really need separate wikipedia pages for Microsoft Academic and Microsoft Academic Search? Can we just move the Microsoft Academic Search content to a History section of Microsoft Academic? I'm pasting this same text on the Talk page for Microsoft Academic too.Sharp-shinned.hawk (talk) 18:31, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
Hi, I have the same (or similar) question. I actually just joined this project (I work for Microsoft Academic). My manager and I stumbled across this page and were confused - we thought the page had not been updated in forever. Then I found the other page (Microsoft Academic). It is not clear at all on this page that Microsoft Academic is a continuation of Microsoft Academic Search. Since I work for Microsoft, I don't want to edit our own page, but can anyone help? How would you fix this confusion? Thanks,Mvorvoreanu (talk) 18:29, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
