Title misnomer

[edit]

Titling this article "Lake Mohegan" is simply incorrect. That refers to an antiquated CDP which is not used by anyone. Even Mohegan Lake's government site says "Yorktown is 40 square miles and is made up of five business hamlets of Mohegan Lake, Shrub Oak, Jefferson Valley, Crompond, and Yorktown Heights." The article should be named based on the business hamlet, not the CDP designation. MrPrada (talk) 01:09, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Factfinder references

[edit]

References 4 and 6 do give the following message: "https://factfinder.census.gov/faces/nav/jsf/pages/error.xhtml". 82.50.226.41 (talk) 10:37, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to be corrected. 82.50.226.41 (talk) 13:14, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's not corrected, and it's at their end. The link I put in the article is the one provided by the website, and it doesn't work. Beyond My Ken (talk) 15:36, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, 82.50.226.41 (talk) 15:58, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've replaced it with a general link to the FactFinder, with instructions as to what to put in the search box. Beyond My Ken (talk) 16:21, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
