Not really bass players

[edit]

This band doesn't really consist of seven bass players--it's just part of the joke/hype the band uses. I would like to fix it (and in fact the whole lede is sort of lame), but I'm feeling like some band partisan will object (because they do "claim" that it's seven bass players), so I'm putting it here for discussion first. · rodii · 15:57, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well not anymore since the band has gone through changes, but all seven of the original members do play bass. JoeD80 (talk) 09:25, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Consistently?

[edit]

"consistently touring the United States and Canada" ... I think "consistently" is the wrong word here, it suggests not that they tour a lot, but rather that they succeed in their efforts to put together tours (which is probably true, but not very helpful in this context). Perhaps "regularly" would do better? Karl gregory jones (talk) 20:45, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Studio Tracks

[edit]

Any reason this section was removed? They do have studio tracks recorded and available. The discography should be linked from the main page somewhere. JoeD80 (talk) 09:26, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Profitability

[edit]

I am a fan of MoonAlice but it has always seemed to me that their touring costs and payroll must exceed their gate receipts by a large fraction. Does Roger McNamee or someone else subsidize this band out of love for this type of music? Perhaps one of the band members? Seki1949 (talk) 01:19, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
