Untitled[edit]

Jack Noon wasn't really responsible for saving the Lodge. That credit should go to Al Merrill, the Ski Coach and later director of Outdoor Programs. He got the money and attention to keep the place upright, hired Jack as the lodge manager, and kept the Freshman Trips program going at MRL. Jack was the public face at the Lodge, but Al was the driving force.

I'll update the page at a later date, unless the person who created the page wants to take a shot at it.

I updated the page with info about Al Merrill, corrected the spelling of McKenney and added a few odds and ends.

Thanks for the corrections. I created the page, but took most of the info from the DOC webpage, so I knew it was incomplete. Feel free to toss anything else you can think of on there.

Added a picture[edit]

I'm hoping to upload a couple more for a gallery. Once I get my hands on a copy of 'Reaching That Peak' (the DOC history) I'm looking to flesh out this page a bit.
