Overall a pretty impressive article Sparklism. Some points to be considered before I see if it can be listed as a GA.

  •  Done
  • Hebden played some of the records and began experimenting with sampling Indian playback singer Lata Mangeshkar's voice, looping a sample for three days --> Hebden played some of the records and began experimenting by playing a vocal sample of Indian playback singer Lata Mangeshkar for three days,
  •  Done I went with "looping" here, to avoid repetition of 'play'. I hope that's OK.
  • and decided to break the album into a --> Not "break", replace it with "divide"
  •  Done
  • coupled with complex drum programming[5][4] --> Avoid such instances where the ref 5 is coming before ref 4
  •  Done
  • to emphasise evening's relationship with nightclubs --> add "an" before evening, because you are not referring to evening here as a person, rather any evening's association with the night
  •  Done Good spot!
  •  Done Good idea :)
  • No marketing campaign was used --> Such stub sentences are not desriable, why don't join it with the next sentence as a contrast: "Although no marketing campaign was used, Hebden performed... "
  •  Done OK
  • from his page --> I assume this is a webpage? if so link it
  • It's linked in the 'external links' section. I didn't see the need to link it in the article, since the cited source #1 covers what is said in the prose. How do you think I should link it - by inserting an external link into the text? Or by using it as a straightforward (primary) source?
  • The critical response section is Immaculate
  • Remove Guardian news and media from the ref 1 and ref 17 publishers. You don't need to add publisher for same Work parameters
  •  Done
  • Use en-dash in place of normal dash in the reference titles.
  •  Done I think I've got all of these now...
  • Please note to make online sources with non-original content like AllMusic and Metacritic as non-italicized. Conversely, online sources with original content can remain italicized like Pitchfork Media etc.
  • I've always been unclear about the guidelines for this. AllMusic qualifies as 'original content' though, surely? Not done (yet)
  •  Done Actually, I think these are done now.
  • Please note that you can actually remove all the publisher parameters, since it is now depreciated.
  •  Done I didn't know that. I've left one in for the liner notes cite - should this be removed also? Thanks!

Let me know once they are taken care of. —IB [ Poke ] 13:43, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for an excellent review IndianBio. I've got most of these covered already - will complete the rest shortly. Cheers! — sparklism hey! 14:11, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
