id like to know what role motya played in the battle of western sicily that occured in 277 BC between the king Pyrrus and the carthiginians. was motya ever occupied by king Pyrrus or did he never take this place? this is a gap in information i would like to be reaveled. it is known that the towns of Panormus and Eryx were taken by King Pyrrus but he failed to take lilybauem. did king Pyrrus also take motya aswell? or did motya stay in the hands of the carthiginians during the battle of western sicily? 126.96.36.199 (talk) 17:16, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
