Minor English syntax edits. AbbyMay (talk) 03:01, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wallace McDonald (talk) 01:34, 23 July 2014 (UTC)I rewrote the entire article to correct the English. I tried to make the list of important persons consistent in format, which it wasn't before, but I'm not sure whether the forms I adopted are standard. There's one sentence in the introduction I couldn't make sense of, about the Moslem invasion.[reply]

Telugu source[edit]

This book is much cited in the article. There are several problems:

  • The publisher etc is not given
  • We have no idea of the credentials of the author - are they a reliable source? Are they affiliated to the Kapus?
  • We have no idea what page is being cited for each point
  • For the vast majority of readers of English-language Wikipedia, the source is useless because it is not written in the English language. That is not a problem in itself but, in particular bearing in mind that caste articles are prone to very poor use of sources etc, we really do need translations for the various points. Better still would be modern English-language sources that could replace this thing. - Sitush (talk) 01:44, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed it for now. I'm pretty sure it is unreliable. - Sitush (talk) 08:15, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
