Whole food or natural food + Food Reform movements.
[edit]Hello.
I wonder, whole food or natural food, which is really the predominant term?
I see also that the other common term Health food, as in Health food store, redirects to Healthy diet which seems bit of a loose association.
I also note that in the history section, the Popular Health Movement of the 1830s-1850s (USA) & Food Reform movements of the early C20th (USA & UK) are entirely missing.
Seems like the area needs cleaning up & much work.
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.132.218.95 (talk) 18:09, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- I do not find the terms "Whole Food" and "Natural food" are used inter-changeably. "Whole-food, plant-based" for example is becoming quite commonly used to differentiate scientifically validated healthy plant-based diets from other diets. I have not come across anyone saying "Natural-food, plant-based". People get great benefit from removing ultra-processed foods from their diet, regardless of what else they eat. For this reason, I would argue that a well written, well sourced page for "Whole Food" would be beneficial to many people. 76.22.28.152 (talk) 04:04, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
