Meath County town
[edit]This article says that Navan is the county town of Meath, having been moved from Trim. The article County town says "Trim (Navan - de facto)". What is the actual county town of Meath? -- Patleahy 07:36, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
The Navan, Trim and County Meath articles all says that Navan is the county town, having once been Trim. Only County town has something different. I asked the question on Talk:County town#County Meath. -- Patleahy 19:28, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Education
[edit]Coláiste na Mí is described as a VEC-run school founded in 2013. VECs were replaced by EBTs (Education and Training Boards) in 2013, as I understand it. Beaufort College, mentioned in the next sentence is an EBT-run school, but this is not mentioned. I haven't yet confirmed that Coláiste na Mí is EBT-run. Once that can be confirmed, both schools should be described as EBT-run, with a link to the article en:Education and Training Board. SeoMac (talk) 05:21, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

History and name
[edit]Hi, can I suggest that the section currently entitled "History and name" be broken into its two parts and both be substantially added to?
There is considerable history on this town and its name is unique. The Navan entry merits more material. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cograng (talk • contribs) 22:35, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
Lock the page?
[edit]Considering the recent increase in IP addresses all trying to remove the same section of the page may it be time to consider locking it for a time? Dubarr18 (talk) 18:54, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
