[edit]The source claiming Nea smirni to be the warmest area in Europe is not reliable as it is an article written in an amateur online weather community. Such a claim here would constitute original research as it's made purely on personal observasions of avg annual temperatures, thus it's better be avoided and removed until at least we have more reliable data from this station as its time series expands or until an official source makes a relevant comparison. - You are correct. EAA states that the station records higher temperatures than the real ones. 2A02:587:857B:CF00:C182:8B98:7E1B:868F (talk) 11:05, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
- NOA does not state this. The Nea Smyrni station works perfectly fine and in fact has one of the best positionings among NOA stations in Athens. The point raised by Syllynqt is totally different. That the source is non RS. While I disagree I will remove the claim since it has been noted before. Weatherextremes (talk) 18:09, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
