Date of move[edit]

It would be great to find out when (and the offical reason for why) the archer statue was moved. --Padraic 16:42, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The statue was moved, as well as the Champlain statue, as part of a rehabilitation of the site. This is ongoing and to be completed in 2023 when both statues will be returned to the site but in new locations. 23.233.24.178 (talk) 21:14, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

1874 Survey Map[edit]

An 1874 survey map of Ottawa shows the area border by Patrick Street, Sussex Street, and the Ottawa River as "Government Reserve". Does this mean it was an Indian Reserve at some point? [1] 192.95.131.137 (talk) 05:17, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
