Eastern terminus contradiction
[edit]The article currently says "NY 18 was never extended eastward past its junction with NY 250." It also later says "... the eastern terminus was shifted westward along Lake Road to NY 250 north of Webster by 1970." These two statements seem contradictory. Powers T 13:59, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Incorrect reference marker
[edit]Similar to the comment above, the first picture under the History section has the following caption: "Reference marker for NY 18 on Lake Road in Webster in March 2008. By this time, Lake Road was no longer maintained by the state." Also, one of the opening comments on the page states: "Its eastern terminus is at NY 104 in the area of Rochester known as Kodak Park." Since Route 18's eastern-most point is now *west* of Webster, it's not possible for a reference marker for NY 18 to be present in Webster. I'm not sure where the reference marker displayed in the picture is located, geographically, but it cannot be in Webster. I'm not sure how to change a picture's caption...nor what the caption should actually be changed to.--Cgwaters (talk) 14:34, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- 18 once went along a portion of Lake Road, which then became NY 941L, which was removed last January (2008).Mitch32(A fortune in fabulous articles can be yours!) 16:41, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- The whole point of the image is to show that the reference marker remained even after 18 was truncated. Powers T 01:01, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
