Old SH numbers
[edit]This 1910 map of state-maintained highways in New York indicates that all of NY 268 was initially state maintained. The SH numbers below (from the 1920 book linked in the article) seem to correspond to the route's routing, both in description and in length (the length of the three adds up to 12.54 miles).
- 522 (Clarence-Hunts Corners): Salt Rd, NY 5 to Lapp Road
- 1036 (Tonawanda Creek, part 4): Tonawanda Creek Road, NY 78 to Goodrich Road
- 1064 (Tonawanda Creek-Hunts Corners): Tonawanda Creek and Salt Roads, Goodrich Road to Lapp Road – TMF 01:29, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Since they don't appear to allow direct linking, use [1] and scroll down to the map. – TMF 11:58, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- Or perhaps the site's just down. Either way, one of these links will work. =) – TMF 12:01, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
