ACHIEVEMENT
[edit]Nguyen Ba Thanh was also deputy head of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-corruption, led by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
Anti-corruption leader Thanh is credited with transforming Da Nang from a poor area into one of the most beautiful cities in Vietnam. For many, it is the most livable city in the country. Da Nang is the only city without a beggar. The magnificent city is very clean and safe.
Loved by city residents, Nguyen Ba Thanh is famous for his tough stance on corruption, especially among traffic police, and is said to always deliver what he promises.
Famous sayings by Nguyen Ba Thanh “I say and I do”
“The core issue is personal responsibility [not collective responsibility]"
“In other countries, if there were that many robberies, the police chief must resign”
“If you are tired, please raise your hands to resign”
“Officials these days must learn how to be ashamed” — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.21.152.74 (talk) 14:28, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

As all information about the Controversies in the article has no proof of being happen. For me and most of Vietnamese, Nguyen Ba Thanh was a great leaders who built Da Nang to be one of the best place to live in Vietnam. And we are all grateful for that. The article, somehow, show the unproven part and do not give the full picture about his extraordinary life.
I would request the article to give more perspective, both for Vietnamese inside the country and abroad,
Best, Tan Le

Neutrality
[edit]This article lacks neutrality. There are many heavily biased claims about Nguyen Ba Thanh, but the writer didn't talk about his contributions for Danang. Danang residents are proud of their city because there was a good council president made it better. This page also lacks of some important part about Nguyen Ba Thanh. For instance, his personal life, his health complications, and his famous sayings. This article might be better if putting some information that I listed above.
