The result of the move request was: no consensus. Participants were unable to reach a consensus as to whether the primary title, "Nidamanuru", would be ambiguous with other topics listed at the Nidamanur DAB page (to which Nidamanuru currently redirects). Nidamanuru, Vijayawada → Nidamanuru – It is Nidamanuru, a neighbourhood, the unilateral move to Nidamanuru, Vijayawada is unexplained and don't understand their point. No Nidamanuru other than the one in Vijayawada exists, hence move it back to Nidamanuru. Thewikizoomer (talk) 18:45, 19 August 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. The disambiguation page at Nidamanur implies that the plain title could be mistaken for Nidamanur mandal or Nidamanur, Prakasam. Dekimasuよ! 03:04, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The question is not just whether the titles as they stand are distinct, but also whether they are used in ways that distinguish them. If some people refer to the mandal as "Nidamanuru", then there is reason not to move the current page.
