Name of the monastery

[edit]

Does the monastery described here have a name? If so, could you post it at: Pauline monastery? Thanks! --evrik (talk) 20:30, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Seemingly is Crkva Uznesenja Blažene Djevice Marije (Engl. Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary), in Crikvenica. Images can be seen at Wikimedia Dubračina.--Miki Filigranski (talk) 23:44, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No, near this church was built and later was called as Kaštel (due to the style of the building). The monastery was simply called Sv. Marije (of Saint Mary) per "The Middle Ages Paulist Architecture in Dioceses of Modruš & Krbava" (1999) and Fond: Pavlinski samostan Crikvenica. However, according to the first RS (pg. 125), in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Senj and Krbava-Modruš were 9 monasteries which belonged to the Pauline order, of which five were founded by the Frankopan family between 14th and 15th century.--Miki Filigranski (talk) 00:05, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
