Invention
The fact that Nissin invented both cup noodles and instant noodles generally is a fascinating fact, but it's strangely dissembodied on this page... If anybody can contribute more, I'd love it! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 217.205.105.226 (talk • contribs) 11:37, 5 July 2006 (UTC).
Type of company
i have no idea of either the english company-system nor japanese, but my translator tells me, that "Kabushiki-gaisha" means a public company based on shares. doesn't "Co, ltd" mean the exact opposite? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.217.42.74 (talk • contribs) 12:24, 1 April 2007 (UTC).
- No, Ltd. means a limited liability corporation which means that the shareholders only risk the amount of their investment, and are not separately liable for the debts of the company. Nissan Food Products is a publically traded cmpany listed on Toyko Stock Exchange. --Bejnar 18:33, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Advertising ?
Ivansanchez indicated on 24 August 2007, that "This article or section is written like an advertisement". I am not sure what sentence or parts were felt to be PR-ese. Can anyone point out which are most egregious? I would like to clean-up any problems. Nissin Food Products, with their subsidiaries, are one of the largest, if not the largest, noodle seller in the world. I am attempting to find third-party business sources for their production/sales data. Any suggestions are welcome. --Bejnar 18:33, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- It's just the part about the popularity, you're not asserting it. If you can find some charts about sales in those countries, please feel free to remove the {{advert}} tag, because the article is perfectly NPOV (if a little bit short). Regards, Ivansanchez 20:15, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- (Not advertising) The article do mention neither sales records nor the scale of products. I will revise the part "popular" and remove "advert" tag. If you need any citation in the future, please use "fact" tag. "fact" tag would be much proper use to get exact fact(s) regarding the article. --Eurodollers (talk) 12:10, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Factories
I added the date when Nissin started its first factory in Brazil. I believe they might have had offices there in the past. If anybody knows where to find this information please post. Also, it might be nice to divide its presence in each country (date when the product started being imported, date when offices were stabilished and dates when factories where built).Cleberz (talk) 04:53, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
