Why do people have so little to say about one of the most expensive paintings ever sold? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.153.73.138 (talk) 23:03, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Because the painting itself has very little effort gone into it to talk about.
Very few drawings by 3 year olds get Wikipedia articles, so the value of this particular piece is the only real noteworthy piece about it. Garfie489 (talk) 12:19, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Question about wording, intent[edit]

How can the lead say it was "sold at auction" when cited coverage of the 2014 sale describes it as a "private transaction"? I would be happy to fix, either by deleting the two words or by adding the public sale information, if someone following wants to clarify. Thanks!
