State atheism needs a reassessment of its Importance level, as it has little to do with atheism and is instead an article about anti-theist/anti-religious actions of governments.

I am not sure why this article is of any importance... isn't nonbeliever self explanatory? Also, this article still doesn't have any references, even though it is 12 years old. I think this article is useless.--ShuffleboardJerk (talk) 03:02, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I think this article would be more useful discussing how the term nonbeliever has been used in different religious context. It's fairly common among Christian evangelicals for example to talk about non-Christians as nonbelievers, and the development of such rhetoric could be explored in this article.
