Apparently now just "Durham, Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland"[edit]

The "Newcastle Upon Tyne, North Tyneside and Northumberland" combined authority covering historic Northumberland has been created, so this combined authority is now just the south of the Tyne (indeed the website now says it "brings together the four councils which serve County Durham, Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland"). See also. I wonder if they'll rename this authority to something other than "North East", given its not really descriptive anymore. --Inops (talk) 19:54, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
