Named after son?[edit]

An IP removed the unsourced part about this character being named after Loeb's son based on something said on a TV show (no source provided). I think the idea should be included in the article (not the lead) since it's obviously a common assumption.[1] [2] [3] If it's not true, that should be clearly spelled out with a source. To just leave it out of the article entirely makes no sense to me. Argento Surfer (talk) 15:03, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

  • Agreed, especially considering there is more than a bit of fan antipathy towards this incarnation, due to the other characters that supposedly died alongside the previous Nova returning, but Richard Rider has apparently been kicked to the curb in favor of Jeph Loeb creating a fictional replacement for his son. -- Pennyforth (talk) 07:49, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
