Prop 32

[edit]

There appears to be a slow motion edit war over the content of the Proposition 32 section. Clearly, the section needs to be fleshed out. But what I left there (and I removed a lot) does represent both sides, and while it does have one more graf against, on the whole, it's not terrible. What's left is at least cited to reliable sources. The part I took out of the article was cited to an obviously pro-prop 32 website, so the source itself was non-neutral and the language was either wholesale copied and pasted, or rewritten by some PR flukey, because it was anything but neutral.

I'd say that if someone wants to expand the article they concentrate on maintaining neutral point of view. That means, don't just add one side or the other and cite them to terrible sources. It means find reliable sources, and write the whole section at once. Otherwise, you're just going to continue to have a slow motion edit war that doesn't actually help make the article any better.

Just my two cents as a passer-by with some experience in these matters - came across the article looking for information on Proposition 37, actually. IvoShandor (talk) 23:29, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
