The term "Sass" is extremely rarely used in English language sources when discussing Germanic miners in medieval Serbia from what I could find, compared to the common "Saxon". In a cursory search of Google Scholar I was able to find only one paper using "Sass" (here), compared to dozens using "Saxon."
