Huge POV problems in this article

[edit]

The very first sentence is an opinion which is at least highly disputable, if not simply wrong. The second sentence appears to be about energy nation wide all sources (but this is quite unclear as well). Most of the rest of the article is about energy in general in the country and only the last piece is about nuclear.

If i were an administrator i would tag this article for a significant review or simply remove it. Paxus Calta (talk) 06:51, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just tagging the article wouldn't do much good, what's needed is some actual editing work. I've made a radical rearrangement that brings on-topic material to the beginning, and removed a POV statement. Perhaps someone else could now take a look to see if they can offer further edits. The Waste disposal section

[edit]

The section on waste disposal seems to be primarily a generic discussion of nuclear waste disposal challenges and barely related to the topic of the article, which is nuclear energy in Bangladesh specifically. The subsections are even worse, presenting information that is dubious, unsourced or clearly unverified ("there is projected to be around 860 nuclear power plants" - ever seen List of nuclear reactors article?), and cherry picking from IPCC report. In general the whole section looks like a wikified discussion forum where proponents of nuclear energy are carefully countered by opponents using generic random facts and weasel words, rather than present clear and properly sourced picture of nuclear waste disposal in Bangladesh.
