Most of the program that consisted of the 16 October 1967 special called "Now Explosion." The Doors performance was definitely recorded at the Parliament Street studio, later used by Radio One's AM 740 as the main studio for Metro Morning. It was one of the first CBC Toronto studios able to shoot and record in colour, using Phillips PC-60 colour TV cameras. I think the connection with the O'Keefe centre is that both The Doors and The Jefferson Airplane had shows there that summer. But judging from both bands' appearances on the 16 October 1967 broadcast, those were recorded at Parliament Street. Haven't seen the other performances, so don't know if they too were actually recorded at CBC's Parliament Studio or at the O'Keefe Centre. ~~ Abebenjoe (talk) 23:47, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
