Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (I edited away the history section to conform with the sd request. The article no longer has any copyright violation. The notice should be taken away.) --Andrew nyr (talk) 17:31, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... this article is just stating facts with cited sources. The user requesting speedy deletion is on a spree and tagging articles all over Wikipedia. The user is also not responding on their talk page and ignoring all communication. This article is modeled off of other hospital articles and I have no reason to put promotional content. All of the content listed is either awards by US News World Report, history, or general information about the hospital. Neutral language is used all over and user has not even provided evidence of promotional content. I consider the fact that it has been requested for deletion vandalism in itself. --Andrew nyr (talk) 20:37, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In it's persent state, it does not meet WP:CORP, so deletionist that I am , I'd be inclined to delete. (I work for a hospital, and you'd be surprised how hard it is to find sourcing not connected with the subject). I would be reasonable to draftify, which would provide more opportunity for sourcing.-- Deepfriedokra 22:36, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Name Change[edit]

Nominate a move. The hospital changed its name and it's well documented. If there are no objections, I'll come back in a week or two and make the change. Middleground1 (talk) 21:03, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Middleground1: This should be filed according to the procedures at WP:RM. What is the proposed title change? BD2412 T 21:37, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In 2021 it seems to have changed its name from Ocean Medical Center to Ocean University Medical Center Middleground1 (talk) 21:48, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
PS, online photos show the logo with the new name and it also shows the name on the building itself.Middleground1 (talk) 21:51, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    Still, WP:RM. BD2412 T 22:20, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the guidance. It says to just do it if there's nothing controversial, and it seems that making something accurate isn't controversial, but I'll leave it as is. Middleground1 (talk) 23:04, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
