East Baton Rouge Parish and Jefferson Parish

There seem to be two places called "Old Jefferson" in Louisiana, the one currently with the Wikipedia article following Census designation, in East Baton Rouge Parish. The one in Jefferson Parish has the current Wikipedia article at "Jefferson, Louisiana", but it is called "Old Jefferson" by locals and the signage, (example photo). I'd been categorizing "Old Jefferson, Louisiana" on Commons as the one in Jefferson Parish (it is just outside of the New Orleans parish line). So... While "census designation" as a rule would usually be good to follow the example of, I'm loath to rename a place with something that the locals don't call it and contrary to what their signs say. Perhaps disambiguate the two by their Parish? Other suggestions? -- Infrogmation (talk) 07:08, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
