"The Teen Titans are now lead by Robin"

Where exactly has this been confirmed? 216.186.51.2 21:41, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Teen Titans Annual beast boy ceded leadership after Superman said the titans are in charge in bludhaven. johns said something about it at the NY comic con. either way, titans comes out next week Exvicious 06:19, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

In my opinion, the current picture is too faded to serve well. I would change it to this but I don't know if that would invalidate the copyright info or whatever. Should there be a cover or two of OYL comics? Should we crop the OYL logo out of a cover instead of the faded version? Can we even do that? --Rocketgoat 00:07, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

sounds good. do itExvicious 06:17, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've been bold. Anyone who thinks it was better the other way should speak up so we can discuss it. --Rocketgoat 07:51, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One Year Later or One Year Later...

[edit]

I just thought we should all discuss whether the title of the event is officially One Year Later or One Year Later... so that we can have some conformity when we refer to it. I see different pages refer to it both ways, and even this page goes back and forth between which one it uses. Personally, I would argue that it shouldn't have the periods, because not only are they awkward, but the logo used on all the covers and the instances I can find on dccomics.com all refer to it without the ellipsis. --Rocketgoat 08:09, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i think we should go for one year later (without the periods) on this page, but people will do what they want everywhere else. i set up a redirect for one year later..." anyway. - Exvicious 21:58, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Supergirl and the Legion

[edit]

Since the retitling of the Legion of Super-Heroes comic to Supergirl and ... is listed here in relation to One Year Later, does that mean that her sudden appearance in the 31st Century is considered a One Year Later-related event? Anyone know? If it is, this should be added to the character changes list. 23skidoo 14:55, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's 1,001 years later, not one year, but I think it is related. --DrBat 15:05, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
My mistake; according to the Legion article Note that issue's story takes place only a few weeks after the previous issue's; the "1,001 Years Later" bullet refers to the current Legion's adventures taking place 1,000 years after the One Year Later titles.. --DrBat 15:09, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New Characters

[edit]

I'd like a section added indicating new characters introduced during OYL, including suggested characters like the New Atom, hooded Marvel family member, New Black Condor, new Dyno-mite, and redhaired Bat(female) both seen in Infinite Crisis 7, pages 45 and 46. ThuranX 01:13, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seems more appropriate to 52 or wherever they actually show up. CovenantD 11:55, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Freedom of Power/Registration

[edit]

Where has a nationwidfe or worldwide hero registration been discussed as law? Reading Green Lantern, it appears that, instead, there are merely lots of laws in place now sanctioning only 'native' superheros, or excluding 'foreign' superheros. Heroes who aren't nationals of a given nation are without jurisdiction there. I have yet to see anything indicating national registration, and in Green Arrow, Oliver Queen's dual identity is still a secret, as are those of numerous other heroes in their own books. Please cite or i'll remove it in a few days. thanks. ThuranX 21:11, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It might be worth adding somewhere that some One Year Later titles do not actually carry the logo. For example, the new Checkmate title. 23skidoo 22:22, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please add such events to the above article. Thanks. --Chris Griswold 08:43, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TerraMan/Deaths

[edit]

I don't think we need a section for deaths, since we have Major events of the DC Universe lost year. And if it's included, it should be under an explanation of why Black Adam did that, which is on the 52 (comics) page. His death is an event, but as it stands on OYL page it's making a mountain of a molehill and provides nothing really helpful. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 17:32, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Aquaman and the Dweller

[edit]

When/where was it confirmed that they are the same person? It's not in any of the issues unless I'm going blind or something - was it in an interview or something?. Either way, can we have a citation please? Lokicarbis 12:49, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure where exactly it's confirmed by a character statement, but The Dweller's blue water hand ws seen at one point, and there have been references in the Dweller's conversations that hint at it, for example, he won't go into or near Atlantean settlements, he is afraid to let Mera see him, and so on. I think at this point, the audience is intended to get that Arthur is now The Dweller, and Arthur J. is Aquaman now, but the writers haven't done 'the big reveal' to the new Aquaman yet. (and King Shark has made some comments too, indicating he at least suspects, if not knows.) ThuranX 15:38, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

excessive images

[edit]

CmdrClow has adde four new cover images to the article. Are all of these truly needed for the article? I feel they push it into the 'art gallery' situation. Can we get some feedback on this? I don't want to revert a good faith effort like this, but I don't want to get caught afoul of the image policing currently in vogue. ThuranX 05:11, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ongoing.

[edit]

I think that when changes to the status quo are restored, especially when it happens quickly, they needed to be mentioned here. Duggy 1138 (talk) 13:14, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This idea has been raised before ,but 'quickly' is subjective, and any fixed point is arbitrary, esp. in relation to the varied lengths of the resultant storylines. As such, consensus is that we only document what happened in the OYL stories, not what came after, which can be covered in their own articles. ThuranX (talk) 03:14, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OYL

[edit]

Is there any connection between the Battlestar OYL and DC's OYL, similar to the recent BSG - last supper promotional and DC - last supper promotional pics? -66.109.248.114 (talk) 15:23, 31 March 2008 (UTC).[reply]

WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required

[edit]

This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. Done - needs A LOT more references. (Emperor (talk) 20:08, 15 December 2008 (UTC))[reply]

multiple OMAC series??

[edit]

Under the "Brave New World" heading, it lists an OMAC limited series of 8 issues starting in July 2006. There is another article about The OMAC Project, a 6-issue series that started in June 2005. Are these two separate series? Neither article mentions the other. Khaotika 14:01, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
