Comments

  • Article title should italicise Nordseetour, suggest {{DISPLAYTITLE:Operation ''Noordseetour''}}.
    • I was wondering how to do that - thanks, and done Nick-D (talk) 04:25, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "with heavy cruiser seeking" cruisers? or "with the heavy cruiser"?
  • "in France, Admiral" that link for France is far too much of an easter egg.
  • "when she attacked on the morning of 25 December." she attacked the following morning.
  • "later on 25 December, and" later that day.
  • "arrived in Brest two days later" -> arrived in Brest on 27 December.
  • "The British Royal Navy strengthened" no need for British.
  • WS5A or WS 5A?
    • WS 5A, fixed
  • "The Kriegsmarine's (German Navy's) plans" -> "The plans of the Kriegsmarine (German Navy)"
    • Tweaked along those lines Nick-D (talk) 04:25, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Submarines and" U-Boats?
    • Same thing really, so I've deliberately not used 'U-boat's
  • "The British Royal Navy anticipated" no need for British.
  • "in April 1939. In February 1940" repetitive. Perhaps "The following February"?
  • "fatally damaged" can fatally damage something that's not alive? Maybe critically damaged?
  • "the Home Fleet during" what's that?
  • "German air force" you had Germany Navy so I assume this should be German Air Force
  • Kriegsmarine's -> Kriegsmarine's
  • "German: "North Sea Tour" German is overlinked. Template should give you instruction on how to force it to delink.
  • "failed to understand that" interpret perhaps?
  • Why link Malta but not Greenland?
  • "The carriers" link.
    • Oops, I thought I already had linked aircraft carriers - fixed, and improved the wording Nick-D (talk) 04:25, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Hipper's secondary armament fired" overlinked.
  • "them.[31][20]" ref order.
  • "December Admiral Hipper's" comma after Dec.
  • Roskill ref needs en-dash in year range.
  • And Steury (spaced en-dash).
  • And Wragg.

That's all I have. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 13:19, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
