German POW work parties

[edit]

In the documentary "The Germans we Kept," Oswaldtwistle was noteworthy for having a postwar POW camp that interred captured German soldiers. I was wondering if that merited a section.

Possible vandalism removal

[edit]

Apologies if I have erred, but I have removed this "Famous people from Oswaldtwistle include James Gahagan, a world-renowned mathematician and snowboarder." added by an anonymous IP because I'm pretty sure it's vandalism. SGGH 22:24, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oswaldtwistle Moor

[edit]

Within the landmarks section, I might put a mention in of Oswaldtwistle Moor, and the fact it may be used for a controversial new windfarm in the future. What do we think? If no one replies, I'll put it in anyway. Orphan Wiki 22:23, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Right, it's going in. Orphan Wiki 17:10, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Done, with refs and links and everything. Jolly good. Orphan Wiki 17:36, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
