Sourcing?

[edit]

This page is really in dire need of reliable secondary sources (i.e. not Theoi.com). I've checked Gantz, Hard, Fowler 2013, the OCD, Brill's New Pauly, Grimal, Tripp, March, and Smith, and none of them mention the "ten Ourea" claimed in this article; this seems to come purely from Theoi.com. Gantz dedicates the entirety of one phrase to the Ourea, saying (p. 10) that "[t]he Ourea are clearly just a feature of the landscape..."; basically every other source either says nothing about them other than that they were the children of Gaia, or doesn't mention them at all. Considering the extremely scant coverage, this article seems to have expanded far beyond what it should be. – Michael Aurel (talk) 05:48, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Given that none of the sources above mention the "ten Ourea", I agree that that should be removed from this article, along with most (if not all) of the discussion of the individual mountains. Perhaps some of this content could be merged with articles on the various mountains. Paul August 11:07, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
