Cleanup[edit]

Much of this article is a copyright violation, (See: WP:COPYVIO) in that it is taken directly from the PSS web site. Rather than delete the article, however, I believe it is of suitable interest and should be re-written to avoid any copyright issues. If you can add to this process, please do. regards, Lynbarn 14:10, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Some things to do:

  • Remove first-person (I, we) from the text
  • Lay the article out as per the Wikipedia Manual of Style (WP:MOS)
  • Add citiations (references) for key points, using the <ref>...</ref> tags

PSS (UK)Liverpool Personal Service Society – This seems to be both what all of the sources call it and a form of natural disambiguation. The only thing calling it "PSS (UK)" seems to be Companies House, turning this into a situation exactly analogous to Talk:Archaeological Services Inc./User talk:Pppery/Archive 17#CAS (formerly Chemical Abstracts Service) page/Talk:Kaiser Family Foundation, where a company has branded itself with initials but the rest of the world (and thus Wikipedia) continues to use the spelled-out name. I would also be fine with Personal Service Society, if "Liverpool" is thought of as further unnecessary disambiguation. * Pppery * it has begun... 22:55, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
