Most Consecutive Championships

[edit]

Arizona won three consecutive tournament titles starting in 1988 through 1990, when the tournament was suspended. Then they won the first tournament when it was resurrected in 2002. That makes four consecutive tournament wins, not three. The fact that there was a suspension of the tournament between their third and fourth win does not diminish their record. Their streak might be even longer if the tournament had not been suspended, especially if it had been held in Tucson on more than one occasion - we will never know.

It is important to get this straightened out now, because Washington needs to win the next two tournaments to tie Arizona's record, not eclipse it. Eegorr (talk) 19:33, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what to do about this. The style width: auto tag sizes around the dates, but the title is too big for that width. Taking auto out makes it too wide. Any thoughts? It seems either: Shorten the title, take out the style and let it be full window width, set the width specifically, or use some tag that takes the title of the navbox into account. 76.17.130.55 (talk) 16:58, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Record by seeds

[edit]

I would like to add this table too. See the Big Ten tournament page for details.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Bruinfan12 (talkcontribs) 07:52, 13 March 2013‎ (UTC)[reply]

My concern would be WP:OR unless there is a single source that tracks all the computations.—Bagumba (talk) 08:10, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We could also add "last year championship won" in the section of "Tournament championships by school". Bruinfan12 (talk) 08:42, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your change to sort the result table provides this—and its easier to maintain!—Bagumba (talk) 18:11, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
